The BOSS BD-2 Blues Driver delivers expressive analog guitar overdrive that responds to picking strength and changes in your guitar volume. Its gain range moves from a light edge of breakup to stronger drive, making it useful for rhythm, lead and boost applications.

Level adjusts the output volume, Tone shapes the high-frequency response, and Gain sets the amount of drive. The familiar compact BOSS footswitch, CHECK indicator, one 1/4-inch input and one 1/4-inch output keep the setup straightforward.

The pedal operates from a 9 V carbon-zinc or alkaline battery, or an optional BOSS PSA-series AC adapter. Its dimensions are 73 mm wide by 129 mm deep by 59 mm high.

Includes one BD-2 pedal, the manufacturer-listed 9 V carbon-zinc battery and safety/information leaflet. The PSA-series power adapter, instrument and patch cables, guitar and amplifier are not included.
