The BOSS IR-2 combines guitar amplifier simulation and cabinet impulse responses in a compact pedal. Eleven amp types are paired with Celestion Digital cabinet IRs, with Level, Gain, three-band EQ and Ambience controls for shaping your sound.

Switch between two amp-and-cabinet sounds using the pedal, or connect a compatible optional external footswitch. The mono input and stereo outputs connect to a suitable PA, recording or amplifier setup. A mono send and stereo-capable return allow additional effects after the amp simulation, while the headphone output supports quiet practice.

USB-C provides audio recording and playback with a compatible computer or mobile setup. The BOSS IR-2 IR Loader application for Mac or Windows can load supported third-party cabinet IR files. Device, connection and software requirements apply; no paid music software or IR expansion pack is included.

Includes one IR-2 pedal, the manufacturer-listed 9 V dry battery and safety/information leaflet. A BOSS PSA-series power adapter, external footswitch, USB and audio cables, headphones, computer, mobile device, speakers and guitar are not included.
