The Novation Launchkey 49 MK3 is a USB MIDI keyboard controller with 49 velocity-sensitive synth-action keys, sixteen velocity-sensitive RGB pads, eight rotary controls and nine faders. Dedicated transport and navigation controls put recording and mixing functions within reach.

Designed for Ableton Live, the MK3 also provides integration with Cubase, Logic and Reason, with HUI support for compatible DAWs. Scale and chord modes and an arpeggiator support new melodic ideas, while Custom Modes let you assign controls to your setup.

USB-B provides power and MIDI connectivity, and a five-pin MIDI output connects external MIDI instruments. A sustain-pedal input supports an optional pedal. This controller has no built-in sound engine or speakers: use it with compatible music software or external MIDI sound equipment. The standard package includes a 1.5 m USB Type-A to B cable and safety instructions. Software access is provided through product registration; computer, external sound equipment, pedal and separate USB power supply are not included.
